Harvesting

Rewards build up in each log's rewards contract after fee value is swapped for $CHOP. Harvest sends your share to your wallet.

What you're paid in#

At launch, logs pay rewards in $CHOP. The log's page shows the reward token and the amount available. Before farmer rewards are distributed, 20% of the funded $CHOP is burned.

Harvest all#

Portfolio has a Harvest all button that claims from every log you farm, in one transaction. Adding to or stopping a farm also pays out what you've earned so far.

When rewards wait#

Remaining fee value is swapped for $CHOP in the log's own pool. The protocol uses a time-weighted price to protect that swap. If the price isn't available yet, for example right after a pool launches, the swap waits and fee value builds up until it can run. Wrapping, unwrapping and trading keep working the whole time.

Nothing to harvest?#

Rewards only arrive when people wrap, unwrap and trade the log token. Quiet markets mean small rewards.

If nobody is farming a log, its rewards are burned instead of waiting for a future farmer.
